Illinoisans need to stand up for gun owners’ rights
As a longtime proponent of gun rights and protecting the Second Amendment, I was pleased to learn of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling to effectively strike down the Chicago handgun ownership ban.
I believe that law abiding citizens should be allowed to keep and bear arms as prescribed by the Bill of Rights. The court’s decision signals an important change and hopefully reflects new advances in the fight to protect and expand the right to own and use firearms.
